Front of House team
Responsible to: Front of House Supervisor
Responsibility for: Providing a first class customer experience – serving food, drinks and spiritual ministry
Hours: Saturdays | Cover during busy periods
Wage: To be agreed, also potential internships and apprenticeships may be available
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring customers receive the best possible experience at our Miracle Café and learning best practice, hospitality & ministry skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming customers and seating them
- Explaining the menu and the way that Miracle Café works and what we offer
- Taking customers’ food & drink orders
- Answering customers’ questions on the menu items
- Preparing hot and cold drinks
- Serving food and drinks
- Keeping the serving station stocked and clean
- Providing spiritual ministry where required (full training given)
- Taking customer payments
- Clearing tables
- Help with dishwasher and washing up where needed
- Cleaning of café and toilets when required
- Full on the job training – customer service, hospitality, Christian ministry
- Adhering to Food Safety Standards, maintaining high levels of cleanliness – we expect to maintain a 5* Hygiene rating at all times
- Any other duties proportionate with the role as required by management
